Unlocked iPhone may be coming to India
July 2, 2007
Although the iPhone will likely not be available officially in India for at least another year, the device may make its debut unofficially there in as little as a month. Shipments of the iPhone are already, reportedly, being smuggled to the country and unlocking techniques are being developed that would allow the phone to work on any network in India for a price of Rs 1,000 or Rs 1,500 (about $25-$35). “Unlocking the iPhone isn’t tough,” a dealer in central Delhi told Business Standard. In the grey markets of Palika Bazar or Sarojini Nagar, an entry-level iPhone will be available for Rs 30,000 (about $715). [Source:www.macnn.com]

YouTube On iPhone
June 21, 2007
Alright… we’ve got 9 days, 8 hours, and 10 minutes (but who’s counting?) till the much coveted iPhone becomes available, and it just keeps getting better. By now you’ve probably heard that Apple has increased the battery life of the iPhone to an amazing 8 hours of talk time, and they’ve upgraded the screen to a more scratch resistant glass.
Well today they’ve added a 12th app (which really speaks to the update-ability of the device)… a YouTube viewer! That’s right, all that video content with you, without taking up precious memory. The iPhone YouTube app will have a multitouch display and work over EDGE and WiFi.
Remember that YouTube has started encoding videos in H.264, so that Flash will not be needed on on the iPhone to enjoy this content (though I’m looking forward to Flash working on the iPhone). 10,000 YouTube videos will be available on June 29th in this format, with more coming every week.
Apple has added a video of the YouTube app to the iPhone section of thier website. Go check it out.

Apple.com Redesign
June 12, 2007
via joey interactive by Joey on Jun 11, 2007
Wow. Apple finally redesigned it’s site, which has used the same navigation for about 10 years, and has been frank-en-designed with add on pages since then.
The new look brings a much needed unity to the sites look and feel and some slick web 2.0/AJAX functionality. It feels a little like iTunes, which is probably a good thing, since so many people are familiar with that navigation convention.
Nice work Apple.
