31 Different Ways To Lace Shoes
June 20, 2007
Well, I recently had the joy of trying to teach a little boy I baby sit for to tie his shoes. He really loves the lacing part, so I looked up shoe lacing and printed out some fun examples from this site.
There are 31 ways to lace shoes. Some are easy and some are harder, but all of them are pretty darn cool. I like the Zipper method myself, but I was teaching the Over Under Lacing, because it was still a basic concept. It was diverse enough though and my little boy thought it was really neat.

DECISION …..
May 16, 2007
Try this!
A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use while the other disused. Only one child played on the disused track,
the rest on the operational track. The train is coming, and you are just beside the track interchange. You can make the train change its course to the disused track and save most of the kids. However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the disused track would be sacrificed. Or would you rather let the train go its way?
Let’s take a pause to think what kind of decision we could make…………….
Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and sacrifice only one child. But, have you ever thought that the child choosing to play on the disused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe place?
Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who chose to play where the danger was. This kind of dilemma happens around us everyday. In the office, community, in politics and especially in a democratic society, the minority is often sacrificed for the interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are, and how farsighted and knowledgeable the minority are. The child who chose not to play with the rest on the operational track was sidelined. And in the case he was sacrificed, no one would shed a tear for him.
The great critic Leo Velski Julian who told the story said he would not try to change the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing on the operational track should have known very well that track was still in use, and that they should have run away if they heard the train’s sirens. If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die because he never thought the train could come over to that track! Moreover, that track was not in use probably because it was not safe. If the train was diverted to the track, we could put the lives of all passengers on board at stake! And in your attempt to save a few kids by sacrificing one child, you might end up sacrificing hundreds of people to save these few kids.
While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be made, we may not realize that hasty decisions may not always be the right one.

On a ship, the Project managers of three different companies belonging
to 3 different nations were traveling with their Trainee guys.
They started an argument on whose Trainee engineer had more guts. The
American PM called for one of his men and told him to jump off and take
a
round swimming around the moving ship.
The Trainee did as he was commanded. The American PM boasted of by
saying, “See the guts!”
Now the German PM called out for one of his men and asked him to take
two similar rounds around the moving ship.
The Trainee did as he was told. When he came back from the water the
German PM said, “See the guts!”
Now the Indian PM called out for his most courageous man and asked him
to take five similar rounds.
The Trainee promptly replied, ” Why the hell should I ???”
The PM proudly said, “See the guts!”

The Ultimate Marketing Strategy

In a recent marketing campaign in Vancouver, 3M sought a strong image for their security glass. They modified a bus shelter and fitted their security glass and filled it with REAL BANKNOTES. Many have tried to gain access with golf clubs and baseball bats but obviously the glass remains intact! This is what you call having faith in your own product…
World’s Greatest Driving Road

Just have a look What they have created in a desert…The Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the greatest driving road in the world. Stretching for 7.3 miles and climbing nearly 4,000 feet, it boasts 60 corners and a surface so smooth that it would flatter a racetrack. It could easily be described as the eighth wonder of the world, but almost nothing is known about its creation.
